Before you call
Clear answers to the questions we hear most.
Mostly homes: new houses, renovations and extensions. We also design small hotels and villas, workplaces and cultural buildings.
From our studios in London and Lisbon, we work anywhere we can visit the site regularly. We have built in twelve countries.
Usually as a percentage of the construction cost, between 6 and 12 percent depending on size and scope. We agree it in writing before design starts.
A new house typically takes 14 to 20 months from the first visit to handover: about half in design and approvals, half on site.
Yes. Interiors are about a third of our work, for homes, hotels and offices.
Yes. A feasibility study tells you what you can build, what it will roughly cost, and what permissions you will need.
